I've been away again the past two weekends! Two weekends ago I was at Champlain Wave in Ottawaish area.. for the Level Six Capital Cup. It was a really fun competition and it was nice seeing all my friends again. I also went out Sunday for the morning and afternoon. I learned to roundhouse and got it consistent and I got a few really nice blunts as well and the wave was really good. Last weekend I was in Valleyfield for a freestyle competition on Saturday and a Slalom competition Sunday. I got into a slalom kayak for my first time after lunch on Saturday and learned how to paddle in it and practiced on some gates and competed Sunday. It was really fun and I like it a lot, I'm hoping to try it out and get into it a little more! This weekend I'll be at Hell or High Water in Petawawa. I may race in women's short boat but I haven't decided yet and I will also be helping sell team things for fundraising. -Sydney!
